  • How do I use the face and body balm?

Simply apply a small amount with your fingertips to the desired area and massage until absorbed. A little goes a long way; applying too much can make the skin feel greasy. We suggest starting with a small amount and increasing until you're satisfied with how it feels on your skin and how well it is absorbed.

  • What does the tallow balm smell like?

Our products are made with high-quality, rigorously purified tallow to remove impurities and odors. We add Lemongrass and Lavender essential oils to our balms for subtle scented options, as well as offering an unscented Natural option that is completely free of any scent. The Natural balm may have a different smell to everyone; some describe it as having a 'sweet buttery' aroma when applying the balm. However, once it's absorbed into the skin, there is absolutely no scent remaining.

  • How should I store it?

Keep our products out of direct sunlight and in temperatures below 30 degrees for an extended shelf life. Since our products are all natural and free from preservatives, they are slightly softer in warmer climates and firmer in cooler ones. If you prefer a firmer texture, you can refrigerate the product.

Our tallow balms are packaged in glass jars to prevent oxidation, ensure the lid is properly tightened after each use to maintain shelf life.

  • Where and how is it made?

Our products are made here in Australia. We source only the highest quality local (NSW) 100% grass-fed tallow, which undergoes a rigorous multi-step purification process, producing clean and pure tallow for use in our products.

  • How long does the balm last?

Our Face and Body Balms will keep for upto 12 months when sealed tightly and stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.

  • Does whipped tallow increase the risk of oxidation?

Our balms are made with high-quality, purified tallow that’s lightly whipped with cerified organic jojoba oil - a naturally stable oil that helps protect against oxidation. When stored correctly, tightly sealed and kept in a cool, dark place — the balm stays fresh, smooth, and deeply nourishing for many months.

  • Will it suit my skin type?

Tallow is rich in naturally occurring lipids that help moisturise and support the skin's moisture barrier, it is suitable for all skin types and can be used as part of a daily skincare routine. It's particularly beneficial for dry skin types because of it's moisturising properties. Tallow helps to lock in moisture and prevent water loss, which, in turn, helps maintain a healthy skin barrier.

  • How do I apply my natural deodorant?

WATCH OUR INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO HERE  or follow the guide below:

To apply, hold applicator to the skin, while pressing against the skin move the applicator in an upwards and downwards motion.

A good way to ensure your product has been applied correctly, is to smell the skin for an obvious scent of the essential oils in your deodorant.

Even though you will not see product on the skin, you can be confident in knowing you are protected for the day.

Tip: If you find your deodorants texture too dry on first application, with a clean dry hand apply a few swipes in your palm to warm the surface and soften it slightly.

  • What is the texture of the natural deodorant?

Our deodorants have a firm texture that can be softer in a warmer climate. The texture of our deodorant is dry and application invisible, that means no messy streaks left on clothes or skin after applying. Only the subtle essential oil scent remains.

  • I have developed a rash after using the natural deodorant, why is that?

Some people may experience skin irritation when first using a baking soda-based natural deodorant. This can occur for a number of reasons, including sensitivity to baking soda or changes to your personal care routine.

If you're new to natural deodorant, we recommend introducing it gradually by applying it up to twice a week during the first week, then three times during the second week, increasing frequency as your skin feels comfortable.

If you experience persistent or severe irritation, discontinue use. Although uncommon, this may indicate a sensitivity to baking soda.
