  • How do I apply my natural deodorant?

WATCH OUR INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO HERE  or follow the guide below:

To apply, hold applicator to the skin, while pressing against the skin move the applicator in an upwards and downwards motion. A good way to ensure your product has been applied correctly, is to smell the skin for an obvious scent of the essential oils in your deodorant. Even though you may not see the product, you can be confident in knowing you are protected for the day.

  • What is the texture of the natural deodorant?

Our deodorants have a firm texture that can be softer in a warmer climate. The texture of our deodorant is dry and application invisible, that means no messy streaks left on clothes or skin after applying. Only the essential oil scent remains.

  • I have developed a rash after using the natural deodorant, why is that?

Using a natural deodorant for the first time is a big adjustment for your body. When switching from commercial aluminium deodorants to a natural non aluminium deodorant, your body not only undergoes a detox process, but is also adjusting to the alkaline pH of the baking soda (an active ingredient) in our deodorant. The adjustment time frame can differ, however most people usually see the rash settle after 1-2 weeks.

To ease your body into the adjustment process to a natural deodorant, we advise using up to twice a week for the first week and three times in the second week.

If you do find that you are experiencing a severe reaction that is not subsiding with time (although rare) this could be a sensitivity to baking soda.

  • How do I use the face and body balm?

Simply apply a small amount with your fingertips to the desired area and massage until absorbed. A little goes a long way; applying too much can make the skin feel greasy. We suggest starting with a small amount and increasing until you're satisfied with how it feels on your skin and how well it is absorbed.

  • How does it smell?

Our products are made with high-quality, rigorously purified tallow to remove impurities and odors. We add Lemongrass and Lavender essential oils to our balms for subtle scented options, as well as offering an unscented Natural option that is completely free of any scent. The Natural balm may have a different smell to everyone; some describe it as having a 'sweet buttery' aroma when applying the balm. However, once it's absorbed into the skin, there is absolutely no scent remaining.

  • How should I store it?

Keep our products out of direct sunlight and in temperatures below 30 degrees for an extended shelf life. Since our products are all natural and free from preservatives, they are slightly softer in warmer climates and firmer in cooler ones. If you prefer a firmer texture, you can refrigerate the product.

Our tallow balms are packaged in glass jars to prevent oxidation, ensure the lid is properly tightened after each use to maintain shelf life.

  • Does it suit my skin type?

As tallow is highly compatible with the natural oils in our skin, all skin types benefit from daily use. Due to it's anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, tallow is suitable for sensitive skin types as well as acne-prone skin since it regulates oil production and prevents excessive sebum buildup. It's particularly beneficial for dry skin types because of it's moisturising properties. Tallow helps to lock in moisture and prevent water loss, which, in turn, helps maintain a healthy skin barrier.

  • Where and how is it made?

All of our products are made in Australia. We source only the highest quality local 100% grass-fed tallow, which undergoes a rigorous multi-step purification process, producing clean and pure tallow for use in our products.

  • How long does the balm last?

Our Face and Body Balms will keep for upto 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.

  • Are the balms suitable for all ages?

Our Face and Body Balms are 100% natural and free from preservatives. We recommend using the unscented Natural balm for babies, children, and individuals with very sensitive skin.
