This is a dry stick deodorant. The deodorant goes on dry so you won’t see or feel anything once applied, this is so your skin and clothes remain mess free.
How does it work?
The warmth of your underarm area heats the oils in the deodorant and transfers a thin invisible layer of product on to the skin, blocking odour whilst allowing the skin to breathe and sweat.
How do I know it’s been applied correctly?
If you can smell the subtle trace of essential oils on the skin - you’re good to go!
Do I need to press hard?
Not at all, press gently to ensure the stick touches your skin so that there is an even application covering the underarm area.
But the texture is dry?
Sure is! Our dry stick deodorant has been designed to go on dry - this is to protect your skin and clothing.
Prefer a softer texture?
To soften the top of your deodorant, simply hold to your underarm or palm of your hand for 10 seconds. The warmth of your skin will soften the top of the deodorant stick.

I have been using natural deodorant for a few years but this is by far the best! I love the presentation of the product, it’s very easy to use, works very well and there are no streaks!
I switched to this deodorant a few months ago, and will never go back. When I was using my old big name deodorant, I use to hate washing my arm pits at the end of the day trying to scrub off the product with multiple washes yet still feeling the tacky deodorant residue there. However, since using this natural deodorant, I don’t have anymore multiple, vigorous scrubbing. Just a quick scrub and I know the product is gone and my skin feels clean there. When it is hotter, I do touch up because I’m paranoid but I don’t think it’s necessary. I still have just under half of the stick left and I have been using it for about three months so it goes a long way. In saying that, when applying it, you have to be gentle so the product doesn’t break off little bits like I was doing aggressively at the start.
I love this product. I wasn’t sure when I first got this if it was going to work as well as my usual deodorant, but I was pleasantly surprised. Its compact size takes up hardly any room in my gym bag. I swim every morning and have been using the deodorant for about a month now after my swim. I’m so impressed at how well this works. It works for the entire day/evening and being a large 6”5’ guy I had my doubts, but I shouldn’t have. I would have normally used two normal deodorant cans in this time and I still have loads left in my deodorant stick. Would definitely recommend it.
I have 2 teenagers which I've given several natural deodorant to use and they've always come back from school smelly, until now. Your deodorants has been amazing, they havent come back smelly since they've started using it.
After searching for more natural deodorants my wife introduced me to the "lemongrass and tea tree" deodorant. I exercise quite frequently, and although most deodorants have the same initial impact, the Handmaid range keeps my armpits smelling the nearly the same at the end of a workout as they do at the start. Highly recommended, especially for those who sweat alot and struggle to contain their BO :)
The deodorant is easy to apply, does not irritate my skin and lasts all day. It does not leave marks on clothing either. Again, I love that there are few ingredients used, they are all natural and support Aussie businesses.

I’ve been using natural deodorants for a few years now and while overall they did the job, it was never as good as your normal spray deodorants - it was either too wet, left a white mark on my clothes, hard to wash off clothing or didn’t leave me smelling fresh all day.
That is until I started using handmaid deodorant. Not only does it leave me smelling fresh all day, but it doesn’t leave a mark on my clothes. It isn’t too thick or creamy when applying and absorbs quickly. I am really enjoying using it and would say it’s better than the natural deodorants you find at coles or woolies!
